Congee with Nuts and Dried Fruits

Every year, the Laba Festival will remind me of my mother's delicious eight treasure porridge.As the saying goes, after Laba is the year!Today, I made a simple version of Laba porridge. After eating Waba porridge, I wish everything will be all right in 2023.

Main Ingredients

millet A moderate amount

Chinese wolfberry A moderate amount
Walnut A moderate amount
Lily A moderate amount
Longan A moderate amount
peanut A moderate amount
Red jujube A moderate amount
Black rice A moderate amount

Seasonings

Brown sugar appropriate amount

Step 1 . Take a proper amount of walnuts, peanuts, red dates, black rice, lilies, longans (I chose the wrong one, it should be the cored longans), medlar, and millet and prepare them.

Step 2 . Wash and soak with clean water for more than half an hour.

Step 3 . Put it into the wall breaking machine and select the function of porridge. Or put it in a small pot and simmer slowly.

Step 4 . Add some brown sugar when the porridge is ready. It's OK not to add it, because there are red dates and Chinese wolfberries. The porridge has its own sweet taste.
