Easy to make at home ----- old style square cake
First of all, I would like to thank you for the formula provided by the rain silent.Dad always misses the old-fashioned square cake. He suffers from the lack of formula. He just saw this cake made in the rain some time ago. It's just the old-fashioned cake.I have kept this recipe for a long time. Today I make it for the first time --- it is simple, convenient and delicious. I also took some for my mother-in-law---I felt that the cake mold I used might be smaller than the one I used when the rain fell silent. As a result, I baked it for 40 minutes.I use a 20 × 20 cm cake mold. I feel that a 20 × 30 cm or 25 × 25 cm mold is just right.Step 1 . Prepare materials - standby
Step 2 . Low powder sieving -- standby; Oven preheated at 180 ° - standby
Step 3 . Add nearly half a pot of hot water into the boiler -- standby (not boiling water, hot water refers to water that is slightly hotter than warm water)
Step 4 . Add eggs and sugar to the pot, and then sit the pot on the boiling pot----- (The basin I use is transparent. Don't mistake me for pouring eggs and sugar in hot water.)
Step 5 . Use an egg beater to stir the egg mixture. (I use the first gear of the egg beater -- because the gear is too high, it is easy to produce many bubbles)
Step 6 . After a little stirring, it will become sticky, and then stir---
Step 7 . Stir until the egg liquid turns white. When you stir it, you can see the stirring lines.
Step 8 . Add low powder for 3 or 4 times, and use a rubber spatula to stir evenly from the bottom up (do not use an egg beater to stir)
Step 9 . Pour in salad oil and stir well
Step 10 . Spread oil paper on the baking pan, pour all the mixed cake paste into the baking pan, lift it up and shake it on the ground, so that the surface of the cake paste becomes smooth and the air bubble inside is shaken out. Sprinkle some almond slices on the surface (no need to use)
Step 11 . Put it in the oven, 180 ° for 18 minutes
Step 12 . When it is baked for 10 minutes, open the oven and turn the mold around -- this way, the color will be more uniform.
Step 13 . After 180 degrees and 18 minutes, insert the toothpick to have a look. If there is no cake liquid on the toothpick, it is baked; If you have cake liquid, you should bake it again -- (The size and thickness of the molds used are different, so the baking time is different)
Step 14 . If not cooked, cover the surface with aluminum paper. No need to preheat 150 degrees for 10-30 minutes. (The mold I used is 20 # 20 cm, which is a little small, and the inside is still raw)
Step 15 . Take out the cake, peel off the oil paper, cut it into proper size, and it's OK.
Step 16 . Install the disk, OK-----
