Main Ingredients
  • Taro 半只(约600~700 g)

Step 1 . Peel and cut the taro into small pieces, the size of your thumb.

Step 2 . Put about half a bowl of peanut oil or lard, stir fry over medium heat until the outside is crisp and the inside is ripe. Remove the excess oil with oil absorbent paper.

Step 3 . After washing the pan, put 20ml of cold water and sugar on it, and stir it slowly until it is completely melted into paste, as shown in Figure 4.

Step 5 . Wait until a big bubble emerges from the syrup, as shown in Figure 5, and then put in the fried taro.

Step 6 . Turn to medium heat or slow heat, stir quickly until the syrup turns white, and drain the water.
