This dish was often cooked by my mother when I was a child. Later, I learned to often cook it for my daughter. One of my daughter's favorite breakfasts is a thick sticky porridge and a plate of fried egg and scallion sauce. We use home-made soybean sauce for frying sauce. Every household makes it, but the taste of each household is different.
